Nothing reveals phone (1) design at Art Basel

The first 100 serialized units will be auctioned on StockX from June 21.

London, UK – June 16, 2022: Last night, consumer tech company Nothing presented the design of its inaugural smartphone (1) to a private audience during Art Basel in Switzerland. See photos of the event here.

Nothing The phone (1) includes a transparent back with a unique mechanical design consisting of over 400 components. Inspired by artists such as Massimo Vagnelli who designed the New York subway map, and made a complex system look like art. Its 100% recycled aluminum frame makes it lighter and stronger, while more than 50% of the phone’s plastic components are made from bio-based or post-consumer recycled materials – a significant percentage in the industry.

Since then, half a million ear (1) units have been sold to nothing and tech and retail partners such as KITH, Net-a-Porter, HBX and Selfridges.
